| What a beautiful day here in north
Georgia! The temperature is in the mid 50's with beautiful blue
skies. Most of the leaves have fallen but the Bradford Pear trees
are bright with color. Thanks to the many prayers, the hope found
in the Word and many encouraging words, the girls and I are doing well
with the news of David and the diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer.
Thank you to all of you who have lifted our family in your
prayers. Thank you for the calls, e-mail, and cards. We are
overwhelmed with the love that has been shown to each of us. David
will be seen at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville on November 30.
However, we will be leaving for Florida tomorrow. We are on a
waiting list to be seen in case of a cancellation. Thanksgiving
is one of our favorite holidays. We have so much to be thankful
for. May each of us take time to thank our Heavenly Father for
the love He has shown us and enjoy our time with family and
friends this week. | | |
| David
and I had a great time with Megan and other friends at the BI in
Florida this weekend. In addition to Megan, we have the Botts
family there, Randy & Laurie Bentley, Zane, and Danielle. We
are excited that these individuals have felt led to be at the BI to
further their Bible training. Below is a picture of Megan and her
roomate,Jackie. The next picture is Megan with Danielle
Stone. Both Megan and Danielle will be a part of Ensemble this
year. The last picture is Earlene with the group from Georgia who
will be attending the BI this year with their families.

| Below are a few more pictures of our vacation. David, Leslie and I are getting excited about heading to WOL Florida next weekend. David and I will be there for two weeks. What a wonderful place to go to be refreshed and revived!!! By the way, Leslie will celebrate her 21st birthday tomorrow, June 24.

| We had a wonderful time on our trip to California. What an opportunity to see the work of our Creator! Due to the above average snowfall, the rivers were out of their banks and the waterfalls were spectacular in Yosemite National Park. One of the highlights of our trip was hiking from Glacier Point to the valley in Yosemite--9.6 miles. We saw dozens of mountain streams and passed three huge waterfalls. What a great way to celebrate Megan's graduation and be reminded of the mighty hand of God.

| Just a quick update. Megan will be graduating Friday night.
David and I are very thankful for Megan and God's work in her
life. We look forward to traveling to California with Megan, Leslie, my sister
and her family, David's mom and Jenny and Nathan the following
day. We will all meet up in San Francisco, travel to Monterey and
then on to Yosemite National Park. Keep us in your prayers as we
travel, enjoy God's beautiful creation and each other's company.
